SSE Student Support Services

Student Support Team

The Student Support Team at SSE comprises of Director, Deputy Director, Programme in Charges, Class teachers, Office Superintendent, Academic Coordinators. The contact details are provided in the Student Handbook and also displayed prominently on notice boards. Come to us if you...

  • Have concerns about academic ability/study problems
  • Have complaints
  • Have problems on campus
  • Are unsure where to go for help
    (or drop a note on your concerns by mail )

The Buddy and Mentor system are also in place to provide peer support. The objective is to provide mentoring from staff and peers to help students find the potential that exists in each of them help students successfully navigate college and achieve their academic goals.

Student Security

  • Emergency response requirements – the student handbook contains all relevant contact details for medical/ fire / police etc. emergencies.
  • The University takes the security of its students very seriously. If you have experienced any threat to dignity or security or any form of harassment we strongly encourage you to report it.
  • The details of the Anti-Ragging Helpline, Team, and the Nodal officer are prominently displayed across the campus as well as on a website.

Student Health

Students should register with the University Health Centre – SCHC. The Health Center provides:

  • A consultation with a doctor or nurse
  • An emergency appointment
  • Sickness certification
  • Insurance
